Who sees what.
Not all the data are public. The Regulation defines who sees what. The general public, the repairers and recyclers who justify a legitimate interest, and the authorities. Here is what each sees on a stationary storage battery.
The public page
Product and manufacturer identity, characteristics, carbon footprint, recycled content, end-of-life instructions. What a buyer, an insurer or an end customer sees. A competitor too.
Repairers, recyclers, second life
Detailed cathode and anode chemistry, dismantling manual, part references, safety measures, degradation model. Available on justification, not in the open.
Market surveillance and notified bodies
Test reports and conformity documents, reserved for inspection.
